AUGIE NAPOLI (1935-1994) STATEN ISLAND SAVINGS BANK. Circa 1970. 27 1/2x22 inches, 70x56 cm. Condition B+: creases, abrasions and staining at edges and in image; tape and staining on verso. Printed on card. The Staten Island Ferry approaching St. George, with Todt Hill and the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge in the background. Todt hill is the highest natural point in the five boroughs of New York. Founded in 1864, the Staten Island Savings Bank only began reaching past the shorelines of the island in 1995. By 1999 the institution had changed its names to the SI Bank & Trust and had branches in Brooklyn and New Jersey. One of the few, if not the only, poster mentioning and / or depicting Staten Island since the WPA Era. Estimate $400-600
